Glutathione Infusion Therapy

Glutathione Infusion Therapy

Glutathione is one of the most important antioxidants for the brain, responsible for detoxifying the body and protecting the brain from various harmful substances. It has been found that the level of this vital substance decreases in the brains of patients with Parkinson’s disease. Reports suggest that glutathione is effective in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.

In Japan, glutathione has already been used for over 40 years to treat conditions such as autointoxication, morning sickness, pregnancy-induced hypertension, drug intoxication, and chronic hepatitis.

It functions as a type of detoxifying agent. Glutathione activates enzymes involved in metabolic processes, promotes the metabolism of toxins, alleviates symptoms of intoxication, and supports recovery. In addition to its detoxifying action, it is also expected to have beneficial effects such as improving liver function, protecting against fatty liver, and alleviating allergies. Due to its detoxifying properties, it is applicable for cases of drug and heavy metal poisoning, morning sickness, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and autointoxication. Furthermore, in dermatology, it is sometimes applied to the treatment of eczema and pigmentation spots.

Because it does not exert strong effects, side effects are minimal.

Indications for Glutathione

It is said to be effective for a wide range of conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, tinnitus, autonomic nervous system disorders, multiple somatic symptom syndrome, influenza, autointoxication, morning sickness, pregnancy-induced hypertension, drug intoxication, chronic hepatitis, fatty liver, allergies, and various skin diseases.

Glutathione Infusion Therapy

An intravenous infusion is administered consisting of 200 mg of Tathion injection, 2000 mg of Glutathione, plus vitamin B and vitamin C.

For the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, it is recommended to receive the infusion 2 to 3 times per week for about 3 months. If improvement in symptoms is observed, the therapy is then continued as a maintenance program at a pace of 1 to 2 times per week. Each infusion takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

For the prevention of progression of Parkinson’s disease, treatment may begin directly with the maintenance program.
